How I Do It

Today is my 100th consecutive day of writing and publishing here on Substack.

I’ve been asked one question more than anything else: how do I write so much? If you’ll pardon the self-indulgence, I want to give you a little glimpse behind the curtain today. I want to share why I’m excited to write—what motivates me—along with a little bit of biographical info.

Along the way, I’ll share some thoughts about how I get ideas in the first place. I’ll touch on news sources and some efficiency tricks I’ve picked up over the years to help me consume news and information more readily.

I want to talk about the writing process itself, and a little about where this could go.
