This attention thing was often pointed out to K-Mart shoppers!

Nice. “Attention K-Mart shoppers!”

I can hear it in my head.

I remember taking macroeconomics and the concept of opportunity costs came up. I said to myself, "YES!"

I didn't pick up cans, but I did gather returnable bottles for $0.10 each to buy candy and baseball cards. :-)

Speaking of attention budget, I often wonder how much of it is disproportionately allocated to watching/reading/experiencing AI-adjacent stuff, simply by virtue of me Substacking about it. And how different my focus would be if I didn't feel the need to "stay in the loop."

Ah well, I'd love to stay and chat, but I gotta go watch that new "Claude Code is now in charge of my marriage and parenting (HACKS & TIPS FOR BEGINNERS)" video on 2x speed.

You and me both, dude. I am trying to pay attention to the things I really care about, but it’s tough when the world is changing so fast, and AI is right there at the center of it all. I guess….let’s talk more about AI?

Yeah, there aren't enough people talking about AI these days, we gotta spread awareness!
