$119 is like $340 in todays dollars. Not trivial.

This was my dream, and I accomplished it at age 12. There was nowhere to go from there but down!

Again, you fail to recognize the importance of Taylor Dane in the pop princess race of 1987. She may not have been the most commercially successful, but she was far more skilled and far more scary to a sexually-confused teenage boy. And she was no slouch commercially and is the only one of the three that I believe still has a reasonably vital live performance career.

Honestly, 1988 was Taylor's year.

Of her seven biggest songs, three bangers came out that year:

"Prove Your Love": Released February 8, 1988.

"I'll Always Love You": Released May 6, 1988.

"Don't Rush Me": Released October 24, 1988.

"Tell It to My Heart" is from 87 and is clearly a home run, but her peak came a year later.

One of the founding executives at sound design was my wife's piano teacher's husband. The factory was about 45 minutes from where we live.

Oooeeeooo....
