When i was in India, Hindu gods showed up everywhere. You’d be driving down the road and there is this gigantic sculpted effigy of Durga riding a tiger wielding 8 knives in 8 arms. My fave was Ganesha the elephant; brought home a little metal version of him and I think we have a stone one around somewhere too. He’s good luck yknow.

I have to give the Hindu religion a lot of credit for having really cool-looking gods.

They also liberally name their kids after them. If you ever met a Lakshmi or Krishna or Rama - god in training

Sorry, I'm Lakshmi-intolerant. Just kidding - Lakshmi Singh has a great NPR voice!

I am more of a Buddhist kind of guy. No gods. More like psychology and introversion.

I'm with you man, but it's like the Hindu Cinematic Universe up in India

Hahaha! I've always heard of Hindu gods plural, so maybe they know something we don't.

What I thought this might be about. Not my favorite song by them, but related nonetheless.

Not their worst, either. I remember seeing a free show Fugazi played at Shaffer Court in Richmond in 1996. I was too cool for them, but they put on a good show nevertheless and I appreciated it.
