*Insert a clever "On The Internet" song remake set to the tune of "In The Navy" but with fitting lyrics here*

But I, too, remember the days of when the Internet was another, separate world you got to briefly visit when nobody in the house was using the landline.

It has been strange for our generations (Gen X and "elder millennials" share this in common). The older generations tried to sit out the internet revolution, but we participated. Is our shared supergeneration going to (mostly) sit out the AI revolution? Seems that way.

BTW, I am so in the weeds with comments right now, but you're still my "ride or die" - didn't want you to think I had deliberately shunned Why Try AI (because I know you lose sleep thinking about that regularly). Seriously a helluva week here, but I'm gonna get through it and over to the other side.

Phew! I was just about to shut down the entire Why Try AI project, so it's good you told me right in the nick of time!

In other words, no stress, we're all trying to keep our heads above the water these days.

My aunt was saying that in the 1960s.

Long, LONG after books were invented.

"Why don't you go outside and have some fun?"

Because I'm reading was never the acceptable answer in her house.

Ha! Wow. You don't really hear this much these days, but this very much was a thing!
