I'm the worst Star Wars fan. It drives Alley crazy.
I really do love the worldbuilding and the storytelling universe, but it's so hard for me to care all that much about the lore. Spaceballs, on the other hand, resonates more deeply. It belongs in the canon with Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Weird Al, and other places where I learned about irony and parody.
I've always loved seeing your daily Dinkles photos, they are adorable! Knowing her origin story now makes them even better. Thanks for sharing your sweet baby with us!
Thank you for sharing her history. I look forward to ‘daily dinkles’. She reminds of my Little George who crossed the rainbow bridge March 2024. A part of my heart went with him. George was brown as well. God bless you and the spouse for adopting seniors. 💕
Who's your favorite DC villain? That's not an easy question. I used to always appreciate Mr Mxyzptlk because he could sort of bend reality, but it has been a while since I thought about that.
I honestly can't say I've ever immersed myself enough into the DC Universe to wonder about it. For what it's worth, I really enjoyed finishing all the meta-challenges by The Riddler in Batman, Arkham Asylum, but that's not to say he's my favorite villain.
Love the gotya story. Daphne has an interesting story. When we came to pick up Layla, whom we’d picked out for her calm nature, the breeder informed us that her sister, Daphne, had been spoken for but the original owner had experienced a severe health issue and couldn’t take her. I kept watching the two and Daphne, who was the runt of the litter, just clung to her sister. The breeder made us an offer we couldn’t refuse and we ended up getting both. The calm Layla and the live wire Daphne.
I love this story. Dinkles is surely a treasure and I love your Dinkles posts, but after seeing her walking, I can understand why you just had to fall in love with her!
Sometimes you name your dog and sometimes they name themselves. My wife had a teacher and her dog who was the love of her life was named "Damn It". She lived almost 20 years.
I'm going to have to pull your Nerd Card. Those are not Ewoks. Those are Jawas. SMH... 😆

lol. Hey, you tried. At least you tried.
And, most importantly: I didn't try all that hard.
I really like the Knights of Ni-
Keep coming on horses but each time further back
I can’t get that out of my head
Absolutely one of my favorite scenes as a kid.
Glad you explained. I’ve wondered often about Dinkles’ backstory. I look forward to seeing her every day.
Nice to know Mel played a role in the name change.
Mel Brooks remains an international treasure. He's like one of those protected UNESCO sites.

I need to watch Blazing Saddles more times.
As should we all.

Yay! Seniors are the very best. We will continue our work.
Better, more fleshed out name origin story than most DC Villains!

The Riddler and the Joker both had that interesting reality-bending way about them.

Oh man, a bonded pair! Siblings, too. <3
Dinkles seems to make every corner of the house somehow comfortable in her own way. She seems to be smiling, too. Glad you took her in.
We're glad we took her in, too! She's a little (demonic) light.
Love Dinkles ❤️❤️❤️❤️
What a great story!
Thanks, Jeff!
Dinkles’ life changed when you took her home. She’s a lucky dog, and you and your wife are kind. 🐾♥️
Thank you, Anne! She has enriched our lives so much.
I’m sure. That’s how it works. Please give her a belly rub for me.
The very next time she is sun-drunk! Count on it.

Thanks, Jack! I'm glad there's a little bit more context. I'm a lucky dude to see her every day.

That's incredible!
Love Dinkles! Look forward to seeing her cute face. Like her story of how you became family🐶
She's the best!
