I often look at old photos of myself and think, wow, that was a different person, in another life.
I've grown into so many different versions of myself. I wouldn't say I feel transported- but rather looking in on someone else's past/story, because I don't even recognize/identify with me from that time anymore. One thing is clear though- I like this current version the best.
I love to think about how we're made up of 90% (or more) cells that aren't "human" cells - mostly bacteria in our gut biome. I also love thinking about how we shed atoms over our lifetime, so there's just almost nothing left of who we used to be, at least in terms of physical components.
Identity is a lot more elusive than we previously thought.
"Dachshund Whisperer Andrew" is definiitely the winner here. Dogs down!
But I must say, "Mullet Andrew" is one of the few pictures I've seen where I don't find the mullet offensive. So it's up there!
Oh, it was offensive all right.
Forbidden BJJ move: The Aggro Mullet.

As always, thanks for sharing.

I didn’t know that! It’s so interesting.
So . . . many . . . weiners. That last picture was adorable! This was definitely NOT too much nostalgia.
Thanks, Whitney! I'll keep going. And keep hanging out with weiners!
I didn’t know you could teach dachshunds karate!
You *can*, but they don't tend to be very grateful.
Take what they need then scurry away
This was a fun post! Thanks for sharing a few snapshots of your passions.
Thanks for coming along for the ride today!
