So Ms. Pac-Man can be infinite, but Mr. Pac-Man can't?

I'm not sure. I played way more Ms Pac Man myself.

Pac-Man had his own animated television show in the 1980s and Ms. Pac-Man didn't have one, so this balances out the universe.

FWIW, I would play Pac Man on the 2600 and Ms Pac Man at the arcade. I still think Ms Pac Man is one of the best arcade games ever made.

Another incredible arcade game! What a great era that was.

My 7-Eleven had enough space for 3 games and Galaga had a long - but not infinite - run. A retro arcade opened a town over and I have the high score. Very proud

lol yeah I can tell you stories about the popcorn. For one stretch my only job was making popcorn 8 hr shift in this little room. I would fill an empty nacho cheese can with frothy sweet orange drink and stuff huge handfuls of hot popcorn in my mouth all day long

Write me up something about your time in the movie theater and I can create a post where I add my stuff in there, if you'd like! That could be fun.

I'd love that! I'll have to give it a think for how to make it a story.

As long as it's movie theater food shenanigans, I think it will be really easy. I think I can integrate a story nugget or two if you have 'em!

Infinity is a donut! We have to rethink everything.

My head hurts. It's Monday, man, how are we already on infinitely finite concepts and portal-hopping Ms Pacman?!

Expand full comment

Psh, Mondays. Such a terrestrial way to think about time.

It's true. There are very few days that go by in a house with a senior dog where we don't utter the word at least a few times.
