I think the internet decided, and this also shook me. I think it took me about five years to actually get that one down.

You have a point . and another point . and a third point . no wait it is an ellipse ... no 3 exclamation marks !!! no 3 commas ,,, oh dash it – and double dash it — now the exclamation mark is twisted ? and the comma has a point ; now two points are lined up : and the commas are acting funny " I need a nap.

He was the ancient playwright who virtually invented modern comedy- the pauses were to let the implications of his jokes set in....
