Kodak suffered an even more catastrophic collapse than Polaroid for not keeping up with technology trends-I think it was one of the fifty for a while...

Indeed it was, David! Kodak was utterly destroyed in spite of having (basically) everything needed to turn the digital revolution on. Of course, they didn't want the revolution to happen at all!

Polaroid at least got a boost when they got mentioned by Outkast in “Hey Ya!” (“Shake it like a Polaroid picture!”). Whereas the most notable Kodak reference song, Paul Simon’s “Kodachrome”, was made while the company was still a going concern (and they threatened to sue him)…
